Hello, friend! My name is Nicole and I am blessed that you are here on my home page!

I am a follower of Jesus in my 20s, living in Rochester, New York. I grew up in a Christian home and have attended church services all my life, but as I have grown deeper in my relationship with God and continued to follow Him, He has shown me that evangelism and discipleship are meant to be at the heart of every believer – even the introverted ones like me.

I have a core memory from my Sunday school days when I asked my mom what a certain fundraiser was for. She told me it was meant to support missionaries, which led to a conversation about how some people are called to go but not everyone receives that call. My immediate question was, “But what if I want to go?” I felt a desire to be a part of what God was doing, and “going” seemed to be the best way to accomplish that.

What I didn’t realize at the time was that while not everyone is called to live overseas, everyone is indeed called to go. The last command that Jesus gave to His followers before His ascension is found in Matthew 28:19-20:

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

This command (known as the Great Commission) has been given to every believer. Through an evangelism class at my Bible college, an outreach event where I met a missionary couple in my city, and being involved in what I called their “discipleship group” and now their house church, I am beginning to learn what it means to “count myself in” to the work that God is doing.

Jesus has already invited you – actually, commanded you – to join in this mission as well. What do you say? Will you also live in obedience as an ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20)?

At the top of this page, there are links to join my email newsletter or read my blog Dear Ambassador. You can also follow my Instagram to stay in touch.

I’m just a girl, but I’ve been with Jesus and He’s changing my life. Come and see what’s next with me!

Excelsior until the Kingdom comes,

~Nicole
